Peasant girl with a veil is a lovely danish pudding made with dried bread crumbs and a fruit jam of choice. lightly cooked in an oven, the peasant girl with a veil best served chilled. Very simple and easy to prepare, this danish peasant girl with veil can be made with a handful of ingredients!
Ingredients
  Crumbs 2 Cup (32 tbs), dried
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Tart jam 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Whipped cream 1 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 350F degrees
MAKING
2.Add sugar to the crumbs and heat in a slow oven until they are very dry
3.Later cool and mix with any kind of jam, preferably a tart jam like apricot or plum.
4.Mold and chill.
SERVING
5.Serve with ice cream
TIPS
Crumble bits of graham or rye bread to make fine crumbs
