Ingredients
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Steak 2 Pound, cut 2.5 inches thick from shoulder, rump or round
  Fat 2 Tablespoon
  Onion slice 2 (Few Slices)
  Green pepper 1⁄2 , chopped fine
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs), boiling
  Tomatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs), strained
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 350F degrees
MAKING
2.Season flour with salt and pepper and pound it into the meat using a wooden potato masher or the edge of a heavy meat mallet
3.Brown the meat in fat
4.Add onions, green pepper, boiling water and tomatoes
5.Cover closely and simmer for 2 hours
6.It can be cooked in casserole in moderate oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours
7.Vegetables can be added, if desired
SERVING
8.Serve over rice
