Swedish Apple Cake With Vanilla Sauce
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (1 Stick)|
|Zwieback crumbs||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Applesauce||2 2⁄3 Cup (42.67 tbs)|
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Butter a nine-inch baking dish.
Melt the butter in a skillet, add the crumbs and stir until brown.
Line the baking dish with a layer of the crumbs, then alternate layers of applesauce and remaining crumbs, ending with crumbs on top.
Bake twenty five to thirty five minutes.
