|Sifted flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Caraway seed||2 Teaspoon|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together about 3 times.
Add Spry, working in with fork or hands.
Add caraway seeds and raisins that have been mixed with a little flour so they do not go to bottom.
Beat eggs and about 3/4 cup milk.
Mix into rest of mixture.
If it looks too heavy add a little more milk.
It does not have to be a smooth batter-like cake.
Put into greased skillet and put small dabs of butter on top and sprinkle a little sugar around.
Bake at 300 F° about 3/4hour.
It can be baked in anything, but preferably an iron skillet.
