Ingredients
  Claret 750 Milliliter (1 Bottle)
  Aquavit 1⁄2 Liter (1 Bottle)
  Orange 1 Medium, studded with 5 cloves
  Cloves 5 , studded with onion
  Cardamom seeds 6 (Whole)
  Lump sugar 2 Ounce (24 Lumps)
  Blanched almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Seedless raisins 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon slices 4 , each studded with a clove
  Cloves 4 , studded with lemon slices
Directions

Heat claret and aquavit in separate saucepans.
Add orange and cardamon to claret.
Put sugar in heatproof bowl and pour in one cup of hot aquavit Ignite it.
While it burns, pour in remaining aquavit and claret, which will extinguish the flame.
Put a few almonds and raisins in each mug.
Fill with glogg.
Top with a lemon slice.
Serve hot.
