Grandmother's Mince Pie
|Ground beef||1⁄4 Pound|
|Vegetable shortening||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped apple||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Moist mincemeat||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Plain pastry||1 (1 Recipe)|
Brown beef lightly in skillet, add apple, mincemeat, and blend.
Line piepan with pastry, add filling, cover-with top pastry, and slash well.
Bake in hot oven (425 F.) 30 minutes.
