Dill Sauce for Swedish Meatballs In Dill Sauce
|Canned beef broth||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Light cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped fresh dill/1/4 teaspoon dried dill||1 Teaspoon|
Melt shortening over moderate heat; blend in flour.
Let cook for a few minutes; do not brown.
Stir in broth and cream.
Cook until thick.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Stir in dill.
Add meat balls and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat turning several times.
May be served over rice or noodles.
