Baked Tomato Halves With Danish Blue Cheese

Ingredients
  Ripe firm tomatoes 4 Medium
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pumpernickel slices 2 , crumbled
  Melted butter 4 Teaspoon
  Danish blue cheese 2 Ounce, crumbled
Directions

Put the tomato halves, cut side up, in a buttered shallow baking dish.
Sprinkle with a mixture of salt, sugar, and pepper.
Toss bread crumbs with melted butter.
Mix in cheese.
Spoon an equal amount onto each tomato half.
Bake at 350°F 15 minutes.
Garnish with watercress or parsley
