Mock Chicken Stroganoff
|Onion||1 , sliced|
|White wine||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Canned mushroom soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Parsley sprigs||2 (For Garnish)|
Cook the chicken pieces under a moderate grill (broiler) for 20 minutes or until they are golden brown all over.
Melt the butter in a pan and saute the onion until soft.
Add the chicken, wine, milk, soup and salt and pepper to taste.
Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
Adjust the seasoning and transfer the chicken to a warmed serving dish.
Spoon over the sauce and garnish with parsley sprigs.
Serve with noodles or mashed potato.
