Swiss Steak With Mixed Vegetables

The swiss steak with vegetables is prepared with a round steak. Cooked in a pan or a skillet, the steak is browned and prepared along with canned mixed veggies and tomato sauce. Seasoned to taste, the swiss steak with vegetables is food for serving over rice.
Ingredients
  Round steak 2 Pound
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper 1
  Fat 2 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Large, sliced
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Canned tomato sauce 12 Ounce (1 Large Can)
  Canned mixed vegetables 12 Ounce
Directions

Roll steak in flour on both sides; season with salt and pepper.
Brown both sides in hot fat.
Place onion on top of meat; add water.
Lower heat; cook for 1 hour or until tender.
Add water if necessary.
Add tomato sauce and vegetables.
Cook for additional 30 minutes.
