Ingredients
  Beet kvas 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Meat broth/Vegetable broth / use 3 beef and 3 vegetable bouillon cubes dissolved in 5 cups boiling water 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Heat kvas and broth to boiling in a saucepan, surface if necessary.
Serve hot or chilled with rye bread and a large dollop of sour cream, if desired.
