Tartar Sauce (Sos Tatarski)
This tartar sauce recipe is a homemade recipe for tartart sauce that oten accompanies fries and fried fish. Fresh and flavorful, the homemade tartar sauce is made with eggs, sour cream ,mustard and mushrooms for a heavy bodied flavor. Combined with added oil, dill pickles and mayonnaise, this tartar sauce is very savory indeed.
|Hard cooked eggs||2|
|Finely chopped mushrooms||2 Tablespoon|
|Salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Prepared mustard||2 Teaspoon|
|Pickle liquid||2 Teaspoon|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dairy sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Finely chopped dill pickles||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Mash cooked egg yolks.
Chop whites separately.
Saute mushrooms in oil.
Blend in mashed egg mustard, pickle liquid, salt, and sugar.
Blend mayonnaise into sour cream.
Add chopped egg whites, egg yolk mixture, and pickles; mix well.
