Swiss Cheese Fondue

Ingredients
  Swiss cheese 1 Pound, shredded with the shredding disk
  Dry white table wine 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Freshly ground black pepper 1 Dash
  Nutmeg 1 Dash
  Kirsch 2 Tablespoon
  French bread cubes/Italian bread cubes 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (1 Inch Cubes, Stale Variety)
Directions

Combine cheese, wine, garlic, cornstarch, pepper, and nutmeg in a fondue or chafing dish.
Heat gently, stirring occasionally, just until mixture, thickens and begins to bubble.
Remove garlic clove and discard.
Stir in kirsch.
Spear bread cubes on fondue forks and dunk bread into fondue.
Keep heat under fondue low to prevent coagulation of the cheese.
