Ground Beef Stroganoff
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Minced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Canned mushrooms||8 Ounce, not drained (1 can)|
|Mushroom soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Minced parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Melt butter in fry pan at 325 degrees.
Add onion and garlic; cook until lightly browned.
Add beef and cook only until redness disappears.
Add salt, pepper, mushrooms, flour and soup.
Stir thoroughly and cook slowly for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat; add sour cream.
Top with chopped parsley before serving.
Serve on rice, cooked noodles or buttered potatoes.
