Simple Beef Stroganoff
|Round steak||2 Pound, cut into cubes (in 34 in)|
|Onions||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Mushrooms||1 Ounce, drained|
|Sour cream||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Tomato sauce||1 Ounce, can|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
Add beef cubes and brown.
Add chopped onions and cook until transparent.
Add garlic, mushrooms, sour cream, tomato sauce, water, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.
Cover and simmer for 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Combine cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water; add to meat.
Cook until thickened.
Serve over rice or noodles.
