Tasty Beef Stroganoff
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Round steak||1 Pound, cut into small pieces|
|Tomato soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Mushrooms||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Brown onion and garlic in shortening.
Flour meat and brown in same shortening.
Add soup, mushrooms and water.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Place in 350-degree oven for 1 hour.
Remove from oven; place on burner on low heat and add sour cream, mixing completely.
Serve at once on mounds of hot fluffy rice.
