Portuguese Spice Muffins

Ingredients
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted
  Molasses 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Buttermilk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

Mix together flour, sugar, spices, baking powder and soda.
In another bowl, whisk egg with melted margarine, molasses and buttermilk.
Make a well in the dry ingredients and add liquid, stirring lightly.
Spoon into greased muffin cups and bake until done.
Bake at 400 degrees 15 to 20 minutes
