Swiss Ham Salad
|Cooked ham||3⁄4 Pound, cut in thick slices and diced|
|Gruyere cheese||3⁄4 Pound, diced|
|Olive oil||6 Tablespoon|
|White wine vinegar||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Romaine lettuce/Curly endive||1 (For Serving)|
|Chopped parsley||1 Teaspoon (For Garnishing)|
Combine the ham and cheese in a bowl.
Make a dressing with the oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, pour over the ham and cheese and toss lightly.
Refrigerate and leave about 1 hour to marinate.
Arrange the lettuce in a salad bowl, pile the ham and cheese in the center and sprinkle with parsley or herbs.
