Ingredients
  Wholegrain bread crumbs 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Raisins/Dried fruit 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Shortening 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Packed brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Whole wheat flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Baking soda 2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1 Teaspoon
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Combine bread crumbs, boiling water, and raisins or dried fruit in the Bosch bowl.
Add shortening, salt, and brown sugar.
Mix thoroughly.
Add eggs, and mix again.
Stir together the dry ingredients and nuts, and add to the creamed mixture.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
Bake in a 350° F.
Oven for 10 minutes.
Remove from baking sheets to cool.
