|Grated onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Swiss cheese||6 Ounce, shredded|
Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces; saute until al-most crisp in a medium-size frying pan; remove and drain on paper toweling.
Scald cream with onion in a small saucepan.
Beat eggs slightly with salt and cayenne in a medium-size bowl; stir in cream mixture slowly.
Sprinkle cheese in an even layer in a greased shallow 6-cup baking dish; pour egg mixture on top; sprinkle with bacon.
Bake in moderate oven (350Â°) for 25 minutes, or until custard is set.
