Ingredients
  Honey 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Water 3 Tablespoon
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cardamom 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Mix candied fruit 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sliced almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Orange rind 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon rind 1 Teaspoon
  Orange flower water 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine the honey, sugar and water in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil over high heat.
Reduce heat and simmer, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat.
Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, spices and salt.
Mix well.
Add all the other ingredients.
Combine with the honey-sugar mixture, blending well.
Cover with plastic wrap and leave at room temperature for 2 hours.
On a lightly floured surface roll out the dough into a rectangle about quarter-inch thick.
Cut into bars about 1 1/2 x2 inches.
Place on lightly greased baking sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, or until the cookies are a golden color.
Transfer to wire racks to cool.
