|Buttermilk||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Diced cooked shrimp||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Diced seeded cucumber||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), unpeeled|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Grated onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Dried dill/2 tsp chopped fresh dill||1 Teaspoon|
|Fennel powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|White pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Combine 4 cups buttermilk, 1 cup diced, cooked shrimp, 3/4 cup diced, seeded, unpeeled cucumber, 1 garlic clove, crushed, 1 teaspoon grated onion, 1 teaspoon dried dill (or 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill), 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon powdered fennel, and 1/4 teaspoon white pepper.
Let stand at room temperature at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
Chill before serving.
