Russian Salad

Ingredients
  Head of lettuce 1⁄2 Medium
  Cut up cooked chicken 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Diced cooked ham 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Canned shrimp 4 1⁄4 Ounce
  Canned crab meat 6 Ounce
  Canned lobster 5 Ounce
  Anchovies 8
  Sardines 8
  Hard cooked egg 1
  Chopped sweet pickles 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped pickled onions 2 Tablespoon
  Commercial mayonnaise 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Ketchup 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic salt 4 Teaspoon
  Lettuce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Break 1/2 head lettuce into large bowl.
Add chicken, ham, shrimp, crab, lobster, anchovies and sardines.
Toss lightly.
Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
Mash egg with a fork in a small bowl.
Add pickles, onions, mayonnaise, ketchup and garlic salt and blend well.
Pour over first mixture and toss.
Taste and add more salt and pepper if necessary.
Chill.
Line salad bowl with lettuce leaves and pile salad in centre.
