Swedish Meatballs

Ingredients
  Ground round steak/1 pound beef and 1 /2 pound ground veal 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Onion 1 Large
  Bread crumbs/Cracker crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Ground allspice/Mace 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Red wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sour cream/1 teaspoon flour and 1 tablespoon water 3 Tablespoon
Directions

Mix together meat, onions, crumbs, eggs and seasonings.
Shape into small balls, about the size of a walnut.
Cook gently in butter or margarine in frying pan, turning as they brown until uniformly colored.
Pour in wine and water, and cover.
Simmer 20 minutes.
A little more water may be added if the sauce boils away.
Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
Serve with hot buttered or margarined noodles, baked potatoes or fluffy rice.
