Sangria Clara

This is a simple and tasty white sangria - no added alcohol to mask a bad wine so make sure you choose a wine you would drink on it's own!

Ingredients

Water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (250 ml)
Fresh mint 15 Gram (1 small bunch)
Sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (125 ml)
Cloves 3
Cinnamon stick 3 Small
Dry white wine 750 Milliliter
Apple cider 2 Cup (32 tbs) (500 ml)
Orange juice 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (125 ml)
Apples 2 Small , cut into chunks
Orange 2 Small , slice
Peach 2 Small , cut into chunks

Directions

MAKING

1. Place a small saucepan on medium flame and add water, mint, sugar, cloves and cinnamon sticks in it. Stir and simmer for about 5 minutes.

2. Remove pan from the heat, and allow to cool to room temperature.

3. Into a large serving pitcher, strain the mixture.

4. Add orange slices, apple and peach chunks followed by orange juice, apple cider, and wine. Stir and refrigerate overnight.

SERVING

5. Serve chilled and enjoy!
