This Maple syrup French Toast is a real weekend treat!

Ingredients

Ciabatta loaf 1 Pound
Maple syrup 2 Tablespoon
Eggs 4
Pure vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Half and half 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Salt 1 Pinch
Nutmeg 1/2 Teaspoon , freshly grated
Butter 2 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Cut loaf into slices, depending on the thickness you like. Keep it aside.

MAKING

2. In a mixing bowl, break eggs and add vanilla extract to it.

3. Add half and half, salt, maple syrup, and nutmeg in bowl. Whisk it well.

4. Pour mixture in a shallow dish, and dunk bread in it. Flip and coat on both sides. Let the bread piece absorb egg mixture.

5. Place a skillet on medium high heat for about a minute. Melt butter in it. Swirl and spread.

6. Shake off excess egg mixture from bread and place it in skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes, flip and repeat.
