Self raising flour
1⁄2 Large, peeled, cut into 1/8 inch slices
1 Medium, thinly sliced
3 Cup (48 tbs) (For deep frying)
1⁄3 Cup (4.8 tbs)
1. In a bowl, place together - self raising flour, salt, pepper, vinegar and baking powder. Add water(150 ml) and mix until all ingredients are incorporated. Add more water, if required.
2. On a slice of potato, arrange onion slices, cap with another potato slice. Repeat the process to make several collops.
3. In a pan, heat oil, coat the collop with the prepared batter and fry for about 5 minutes, until it turns golden brown.
