Herbed Belgian Endive

Ingredients
  Belgian endive 1 Pound
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Chicken bouillon 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Imitation butter flavoring 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Artificial sweetener 1⁄4 Teaspoon (Equivalent To 2 Teaspoons Sugar)
  Parsley flakes 1 Teaspoon
  Basil leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Lengthwise cut endive in halves.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

MAKING
3. In a baking dish, mix rest of the ingredients and add endives; mix lightly.
4. Cover the dish and bake for 35 minutes.
5. Uncover and baste with sauce; bake for another 10 minutes.

SERVING
6. Serve Herbed Belgian Endive with your favorite main dish.
