Burton Bite Welsh Rarebit
|Sharp processed cheese||1⁄2 Pound|
|Beer||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Tabasco sauce||1 Dash|
|Paprika||To Taste (Few Grains)|
Put cheese and beer in top of double boiler over boiling water.
Cover and let cheese melt, stirring occasionally, until thickened and smooth, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve hot on toast.
If thinner rarebit is desired, add more beer after cheese has melted.
