Hot Spiced Claret

Ingredients
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Hot water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Claret wine 4⁄5 Quart (1 Bottle)
Directions

In slow-cooking pot, combine sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and water.
Stir until well blended.
Pour in wine.
Cover pot; heat on low 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Serve hot from the pot.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
