Russian Pork Chop Casserole

|Button mushrooms||1⁄4 Pound|
|Garlic salt||1 Teaspoon|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
Peel potatoes and cut them into very small, thin pieces .Melt the oil in a flameproof casserole and fry the potatoes for 5 minutes.
Remove from pan with slotted spoon.
Season chops with salt and pepper.
Add to casserole and cook for 1 minute on each side.
Drain off excess fat.
Add water, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Add to casserole with fried potatoes and garlic salt and cook for a further 10 minutes.
Stir in sour cream and 1 tbsp of the chopped parsley.
Sprinkle with remaining parsley just before serving.
