Chocolate-Kiss Peanut-Butter Cookies

Ingredients
  Sifted all purpose flour 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Baking soda 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs), softened
  Creamy peanut butter 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs) (At Room Temperature)
  Granulated sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed
  Eggs 2
  Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
  Foil wrapped chocolate kisses 5 Dozen
Directions

Preheat oven to 375F.
Sift flour with baking soda and salt.
Set aside.
In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter and peanut butter until well blended.
Add 1 cup granulated sugar and the brown sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth.
Stir in flour mixture until well combined.
Using level tablespoonful for each, shape into 5 dozen balls.
Roll each in granulated sugar.
Place, 2 inches apart, on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 8 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Press an unwrapped chocolate kiss in top of each; bake 2 minutes longer.
Remove cookies to wire rack; let cool completely.
Makes 5 dozen.
