Scandinavian Poached Cod
|Hot water||250 Milliliter|
|Onion||1 Small, thinly sliced|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm)|
|Cod steaks/Cod fillets||6 Ounce|
1.Take a glass dish, put hot water, lemon juice, onion, celery, garlic cloves, bay leaf, thyme. Cloves, salt and peppercorns in it.
2.Put the lid on and cook for 6 minutes at HIGH until the ingredients start boiling.
3.Once done, mix well and arrange the cod in it one next to other.
4.Cook for 2 minutes at HIGH with the lid on.
5.Flip the pieces and heat for 1 minute at HIGH.
6.Leave the dish for 5-8 minutes.
7.Serve the fish warm topped with melted butter, lemon juice and chopped parsley.
