Hungarian Chicken Fricassee

Ingredients
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Frying chickens 2
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Onions 2 , finely chopped
  Tomatoes 2 , finely chopped
  Paprika 2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Light cream 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Directions

Disjoint chickens; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Melt butter in heavy saucepan or Dutch oven over low heat.
Spread onions in pan; add chicken.
Cover; cook for 10 minutes.
Add tomatoes and paprika; mix gently.
Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
Stir soda into cream; pour over chicken.
Simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes longer or until chicken is tender.
Arrange chicken on serving platter; strain sauce over chicken.
