Ingredients
  Seedless raisins 2 Pound
  Currants 3 Pound
  Almonds 1⁄2 Pound, blanched
  Flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Allspice 2 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cream of tartar 1 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 225°F.

MAKING
2) Combine the raisins, currants, almonds with the flour.
3) Add sugar, allspice, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper and baking powder with the cream of tartar.
4) add just enough milk to moisten the mixture.
5) Line the loaf tins with foil and pour the mixture into it.
6) Press very firmly.
7) Prick with fork and pour at least 2 tablespoons brandy over each cake.
8) Seal foil firmly over top.
9) Cook in slow oven, 225°F for 3 hours.

SERVING
10) Serve warm and crispy with a spoonful of brandy over the cake for flavor.
