Lemon Tartar Sauce
|Mayonnaise/Salad dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon||2 Teaspoon, freshly squeezed|
|Lemon peel||1 Teaspoon, freshly grated|
|Dill pickle||2 Tablespoon, finely chopped|
|Green onion||2 Tablespoon, finely chopped|
|Canned pimiento||1 Tablespoon, chopped (Optional)|
1. In small non-metallic bowl, add mayonnaise.
2. Add lemon juice and peel to it and whisk with a fork until well blended.
3. Stir in the pickle, onion and pimiento.
4. Serve the tarter sauce as a dipping sauce or use to coat cold foods. It goes especially well with fried sea food or pan fried fish
