East Prussian Honey Cakes

East Prussian Honey Cakes are very simple to make deliciously spiced cakes. This cake is served as snack. It can also be packed in your kids tiffin. The spices make it very interesting that everybody loves it.
Ingredients
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 3 Small
  Self-rising flour 1 Pound
  Cardamom seeds To Taste
  Cinnamon To Taste
  Ground ginger To Taste
  Almonds 5
  Lemon peel 1
  Honey 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1)In a pan, melt butter with honey and sugar. Cool.
2)In a bowl, beat together sifted flour, 2 eggs, spices and mix to form firm dough.
3)Roll out into ½ inch thick.
4)Take a greased tin and smooth the top.
5)Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle almonds and lemon peel as decorations.
6)Bake in a moderate heat for about 30 minutes.
7)Let it cool a bit and the cut.
8)Remove the cake from cold.

SERVING
9)Serve the east Prussian honey cakes when desired.

Beat in the sifted flour, 2 eggs, spices and mix well to a firm dough.
Roll out, put in a greased tin and smooth the top.
It should be about 1/2" thick.
Brush with beaten egg, decorate with almonds and lemon peel.
Bake in a moderate oven for about 30 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly before cutting.
However, be certain to remove from tin before cold.
