Pennsylvania Dutch Lettuce
|Bacon slices||5 , diced|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Minced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vinegar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Leaf lettuce||1 Pound (1 Bunch)|
1) In a skillet , saute the bacon until crisp.
2) Mix in rest of the ingredients except the leaf lettuce, stir continuously and bring to a boil.
3) In a salad bowl, tear the leaf lettuce.
4) Pour over the hot dressing and toss gently to coat.
5) Serve immediately.
