Swiss Asparagus Quiche
|Bacon bits||6 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 Large, finely chopped|
|Swiss cheese cubes||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
|Evaporated skim milk||13 Ounce (1 Can)|
|White pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Frozen asparagus spears||10 Ounce, Defrosted (1 Package)|
1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
2.In an 8 inch pi pan, place the basic pie crust and bake for 5 minutes.
3.Mix onion, bacon bits and cheeses and once done place them on the pastry shell.
4.In a bowl, combine milk, eggs and seaonings.
5.Put the egg mixture into the pie.
6.Arrange asparagus stalks in the form of wheel blades on the pie and bake the quiche for 35-40 minutes.
7.Once brown, check for doneness by inserting a knife.
8.Serve the quiche in a dish.
