Cinnamon Apple Strudel

Ingredients
  Cake yeast 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Flour 1⁄2 Pound
  Water 1⁄4 Pint, tepid
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped apples 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped currants 3 Ounce (Filling)
  Chopped raisins 3 Ounce (Filling)
  Oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (to mix)
Directions

Warm the flour.
Mix yeast with sugar and add the warm water.
Pour this into the middle of the flour and leave for 10 minutes.
Then mix and knead well.
Leave to rise for one hour.
Knead again lightly.
Roll out and then pull till the dough is paper-thin.
Spread over the filling and carefully roll up.
Bake in a moderate oven on a greased slide for about 45 minutes, dripping occasionally with oil.
Add everything together, mixing with enough oil to enable the mixture to be spread easily.
