Hamburger Stroganoff With Scallions
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Chopped scallions||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (1 Stick)|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Burgundy wine||3 Tablespoon|
|Consomme||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Medium noodles||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Brown beef, scallions and garlic in some of the butter until hamburger loses red color.
Add consomme, wine, lemon juice and rest of stick of butter.
Let simmer 15 minutes.
Add noodles (which have been cooked according to package directions) and cook covered for 8 minutes more.
Add the sour cream and mix and heat through, but do not boil.
Serve immediately with a salad and rolls.
