Scottish Banana Cookies
|Butter||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Almond flavor||1 Teaspoon|
|Flour||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Mashed bananas||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after.each addition.
Add almond flavoring.
Sift together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add alternately with mashed bananas.
Drop by tcaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes.
