This easy to make recipe for soetkoekies is guaranteed to come out great by BakingMama. Enjoy soetkoekies yourself or share with friends and family. Make sure to let me know.
  Flour 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Soda bicarbonate 2 Teaspoon
  Cream of tartar 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Custard powder 4 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch

Sift dry ingredients together; mix in the sugar and rub in the butter until like crumbs.
Mix with sour milk or buttermilk, or even with water to a reliable consistency.
Roll out and cut into shapes or form into balls and flatten with the back of a fork.
Bake in a moderate oven
