Swiss Chard with Garlic Butter
|Swiss chard||2 Pound, cleaned and trimmed|
|Unsalted butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||4 Clove (20 gm), minced (2 Teaspoon)|
1. Cut chard stems crosswise into 1/2-inch pieces. Cut chard leaves in half lengthwise; stack them and cut crosswise into 2-inch pieces.
2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, until just fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add chard stems; cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender, about 4 minutes.
3. Add chard leaves in batches, tossing to coat; season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook, stirring once, until stems are tender and leaves are wilted,
4 to 5 minutes.
