Polish Sausage With Red Cabbage

Ingredients
  Red cabbage head 1 Medium
  Boiling water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon (Margarine)
  Red wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Apples 2 , peeled, cored, and sliced
  Polish sausage 1 Pound
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Shred cabbage, scald with boiling water, and drain.
Pour lemon juice over cabbage.
Melt butter; add cabbage and the next 5 ingredients.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Top with sausage and continue cooking for 15 minutes longer.
