Swedish Meat Balls

Ingredients
  Finely ground beef 1 Pound
  Dry bread crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Milk 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Onion 1⁄2 Small, grated
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Nutmeg 1 Dash
  Bacon drippings/Fat 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
  Hot water/Bouillon / wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1. Mix all the ingredients together and shape into 36 1.5 inch diameter balls. Take a heavy skillet with bacon drippings or hot fat, add the balls and on low heat, allow them to turn golden brown.
2. Pour in 1/4 cup hot water, bouillon or wine, cover firmly and allow to simmer for 20 minutes.

SERVING
3. Serve on toothpicks.
