Hungarian Cream Cake
|Cake flour||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , well beaten|
|Heavy cream||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
Sift flour once; measure; add baking powder and salt; sift together three times.
Gradually, add sugar to eggs and beat well.
Add flour, alternately with cream, a small amount at a time.
Beat after each addition, until smooth.
Bake in greased 9x5x3 inch pan, at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
If desired, spread chocolate frosting on top and sides of cake.
