Polish Bows

Ingredients
  Egg yolks 8
  Vanilla 1 Tablespoon
  Whiskey 1 Ounce
  Sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Same Amount As Yolks)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 Tablespoon (Or As Much Flour It Will Take)
Directions

Put yolks into bowl; beat until yolks turn light yellow (about 5 minutes).
Add sour cream; mix until well blended.
Add vanilla; mix a little; add whiskey, salt and baking powder.
Mix for short time until everything looks mixed.
Start to add sifted flour until you can scoop it out of bowl.
Scoop out onto more sifted flour on table.
Knead until, dough starts to make a popping noise; form loaf; wrap in plastic wrap; place in refrigerator overnight.
Next day, cut piece about 1-1/2-inches; roll out very thin.
Cut into strips 2-inches wide and 6-inches long.
Cut slit in center; put 1 end through slit.
When all dough is rolled out, slit and turned, you are ready to fry in shortening (about 4 at a lime), until they look done.
