Meatballs Polish Style
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Fine dry bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Minced parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Rye bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned tomatoes||1 Pound (1 Can / 2 Cups)|
|Lemon||1 , juiced|
Combine beef, egg, dry bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and parsley; mix well.
Shape into small balls and brown in greased skillet; pour off fat.
Sprinkle meatballs with rye-bread crumbs; add tomatoes and lemon juice.
Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, adding water if necessary.
