How To Cook Chicken Adobo (Pinoy Style)
The Adobo reminded me of a southern smothered chicken. The black pepper, vinegar and soy sauce combined to create this kickin’ gravy that exploded in my mouth. Having the bed of rice underneath definitely balanced the dish. Dark meat is better to use in this dish to increase flavor
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), chopped|
|Ginger||1⁄2 , chopped|
|Coconut vinegar||1⁄4 Tablespoon|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||4 Tablespoon|
|Chicken pieces||1 , skinned|
Add water into wok or pot to medium high. Add chicken, once water starts to boil reduce heat to simmer. Add ingredients, allow to cook 25 mins. Once cooked, plate it up serve with Jasmine rice. My favorite dish as a kid enjoy!!!
